Omeed Latifi graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He then earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law, with a concentration in international law. During law school, Mr. Latifi demonstrated a strong commitment to public service by participating in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Clinic, where he assisted low-income families with tax filings. His dedication earned him the Outstanding Immigration Clinic Intern award for his work representing indigent clients in immigration cases, as well as Pro Bono Recognition for completing over 100 hours of service.
Since joining Adler Law Group, APLC, in November 2016, Mr. Latifi has focused on wildfire litigation. He has represented over 4,000 wildfire victims whose lives were severely affected by utility companies, helping to secure millions of dollars in pre-trial settlements. His current practice includes representing clients in high-profile cases such as the Butte Fire, North Bay Fire, and Camp Fire litigation against PG&E, as well as the Thomas Fire and Woolsey Fire litigation against Southern California Edison.
