Matt is an experienced litigator and trial attorney, representing clients in a broad array of complex legal matters, including business, commercial, product liability, intellectual property, real estate, and mass tort litigation.

After graduating magna cum laude from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2001, Matt became an equity partner at DLA Piper LLP, the world’s largest business law firm. Throughout his career, he has litigated hundreds of cases to successful resolution through trial, arbitration, and settlement. He is well-versed in state and federal court proceedings nationwide, with significant experience in pre-dispute counseling, mediation, arbitration, trial, and appellate practice. His achievements in corporate litigation have been recognized by The Daily Transcript, and his trial results have been featured in Top Verdicts.

Matt earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego, and has practiced law in San Diego for over 23 years. He currently resides in Carmel Valley with his wife and their three children.
