She has successfully practiced before the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), where she served as lead counsel in a pivotal 2017 evidentiary hearing. In this capacity, she advocated for a multi-million-dollar investment in a new Customer Information System, presenting and defending company witnesses, and rigorously cross-examining representatives from the Office of Ratepayer Advocates and The Utility Reform Network.

Her distinguished career began with a clerkship for the Honorable Michael Daly Hawkins of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. A 2004 graduate of Stanford Law School, Ms. Adler earned her J.D. with honors, graduating Order of the Coif, and serving as articles editor for the Stanford Law Review. She was also recognized with the Hilmer Oehlmann, Jr. writing award for her excellence in moot court brief writing.

Ms. Adler completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin, where she graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Spanish and Plan II Honors in 2001. During her time at the university, she distinguished herself in national mock trial competitions and authored an honors thesis entitled Lawyers on Trial.
